About

About Raquel Rose, RDN, LD

I am a registered dietitian nutritionist with a passion for supporting those with both diagnosed eating disorders, and those who may fall on the disordered eating spectrum, including those who identify as chronic dieters, food addicts, emotional eaters, picky eaters, and exercise addicts. I have several years of experience working in PHP/IOP eating disorder treatment and outpatient care. I practice from a Health At Every Size®, Intuitive Eating, and Division of Responsibility perspective. I also offer a Family Based Therapy (FBT) approach to nutrition counseling for appropriate or interested families of adolescents and young adults. I believe that EveryBody deserves the opportunity to turn down the volume on diet culture, to connect with food in a positive way, to experience joyful movement, and to nurture appreciation for the body. If this sounds interesting to you, let’s talk!

Who I Work With

Teens (12+) and adults who identify with any of the statements below:

I have a diagnosed eating disorder or suspect that I have an eating disorder

I am struggling with…”

  • Chronic Dieting
  • Food Addiction
  • Emotional Over/Under-eating
  • Picky Eating or Very Limited Food Variety
  • Exercise Addiction

I want to know more about…

  • Intuitive Eating
  • Health At Every Size
  • Division of Responsibility
  • Managing my Medical Condition (including Diabetes, Heart Disease, High Blood Pressure, PCOS) without Dieting

Because the relationship with food, movement, and the body are so often connected to one’s relationships, emotional state, past and current traumas, and self-esteem, I strongly prefer (and in certain cases may require) that my clients are also connected with a therapist and primary care physician in conjunction with our work together. I am happy to provide referrals!
